The Gift - 4K UHD Arrow UK Limited Edition
The Gift - Arrow UK Limited Edition Blu-ray also available
Director Sam Raimi combined the spooky underpinnings of his early work with his newly proven talent for handling powerful drama in the supernatural thriller The Gift, coaxing nuanced performances from a star-studded cast to bring a gripping script by Billy Bob Thornton & Tom Epperson (One False Move) to life.
In rural Georgia, recently widowed psychic Annie Wilson (Cate Blanchett) works as a tarot reader to support her young family. When she is introduced to her son's affable school principal (Greg Kinnear) and his socialite fiancée (Katie Holmes), Annie has a grisly premonition of things yet to come. After her violent vision comes true, all eyes turn to Annie, leaving her with no choice but to use her clairvoyant abilities to find the culprit herself. Could it be the abusive husband (Keanu Reeves) of one of Annie's regular clients (Hilary Swank)? Or the nervy mechanic (Giovanni Ribisi) whose yearning for friendship masks an uncontrollable rage? Or is another terrible secret hiding in plain sight?
Made right before a certain web-slinger finally catapulted Raimi from the cult fringes onto Hollywood's A-list, The Gift is an underappreciated but vital entry in his filmography that is ripe for reappraisal with this brand new 4K remaster.

The Usual Suspects - 4K UHD Arrow UK Limited Edition
The Usual Suspects - Arrow UK Limited Edition Blu-ray also available.
Amidst the wave of neo-noir thrillers that swept American cinema in the 1990s, few films made as much impact as The Usual Suspects, which revolutionized the genre, won two Academy Awards® and is still regarded as one of the greatest crime films ever made.
After a brutal massacre on a cargo ship off the coast of Los Angeles leaves 27 men dead, Special Agent Dave Kujan (Chazz Palminteri) interrogates one of the only two survivors, small-time con artist Verbal Kint (Kevin Spacey). During the interview, Kint tells Kujan of how he was recruited by the fearsome crime lord Keyser Söze to commit a series of daring heists with four other crooked misfits: Dean Keaton (Gabriel Byrne), Mike McManus (Stephen Baldwin), Fred Fenster (Benicio del Toro) and Todd Hockey (Kevin Pollak). But as Kint's account of the events leading up to the massacre becomes more convoluted, Kujan becomes increasingly skeptical and determined to discover the identity of the elusive Keyser Söze.
With an unforgettably twisty and tightly written Oscar®-winning script by Christopher McQuarrie, The Usual Suspects is an unmissable entry in the canon of American indie cinema.

Incubus (1966) - 4K UHD Arrow Limited Edition
Incubus (1966) - Arrow Limited Edition Blu-ray also available
It is often said that films about the Devil are cursed with bad luck, but Leslie Stevens' Incubus might be the most cursed of them all. By the time it premiered in 1966, two of its stars had tragically taken their own lives; the eccentric director's insistence on filming in the obscure Esperanto language ensured it failed to receive any distribution; and it was nearly lost forever when the original elements were believed lost in a fire. Decades passed until it was finally saved and unveiled to the public in all its unholy glory!
Wounded in battle, soldier Marc (William Shatner, just prior to being cast in Star Trek) ventures to the remote village of Nomen Tuum to find a well where the waters are said to be blessed with healing powers. Little does he suspect that the inhabitants of Nomen Tuum are demonic seductresses who entice interlopers and lead them to damnation, and one such succubus, Kia (Allyson Ames) has her sights on Marc. As an eclipse shrouds the sun and darkness falls over the village, Marc and Kia's relationship becomes more passionate… will his soul survive?
Now restored in 4K from the last known surviving 35mm print, this eerie and unforgettable American folk horror from the creator of The Outer Limits survives to chill a new generation as never seen before. Stylishly filmed in Big Sur and other California locations by cinematographer (and future Academy Award winner) Conrad L. Hall, Incubus is a film unlike any other, now accompanied by hours of bonus features delving into the mysteries of this once-thought-lost cult classic.

Rampo Noir - Arrow Limited Edition
Four filmmakers from completely different backgrounds bring their radically personal takes to the stories of Japan's celebrated master of the macabre, Edogawa Rampo (Horrors of Malformed Men, Blind Beast).
In "Mars's Canal", by music video director and visual artist Suguru Takeuchi, a lone man encounters the other side of his psyche beyond the reflective surface of a circular pond set in a desolate landscape. Japanese New Wave auteur and longtime director of the Ultraman series Akio Jissoji (This Transient Life, Mandala) harnesses his distinctive stylistic sheen in his story of a mad mirror maker, "Mirror Hell". "Caterpillar" sees the singular vision of cult director Hisayasu Sato (The Bedroom, Naked Blood) at its most grotesque, in his portrait of a wounded war veteran who returns from the frontline as little more than a bloody torso, helpless to defend himself against the increasingly perverted caprices of an embittered wife. Finally, a famous actor is subjected to the obsessive attentions of her limo driver in "Crawling Bugs", the directorial debut of internationally acclaimed manga artist Atsushi Kaneko (Bambi and Her Pink Gun).
Produced by the same team behind Ichi the Killer and Uzumaki, and with a cast featuring some of Japan's top stars, including Tadanobu Asano (Maboroshi, Silence) and Ryuhei Matsuda (Blue Spring, Gohatto), Rampo Noir is a stylistic tour-de-force that vividly evokes the "erotic grotesque" worlds created by Japan's pioneering proponent of horror and mystery fiction.

- Optional newly translated English subtitles
- Brand new audio commentary by Japanese film experts Jasper Sharp and Alexander Zahlten
- Another World, a new interview with Suguru Takeuchi, director of "Mars's Canal"

Posted Tue Oct 22, 2024 at 09:39 AM PDT by Tom LandySometimes, you can only dip into a well once. After a blistering hit from critics and fans and a box office take to match, Joker: Folie À Deux will sprint onto theater-at-home streaming on October 29th with 4K UHD & Blu-ray discs dropping in time for Christmas.
Ouch, that's a painfully quick turnaround. In case you didn't notice, the coverage of the jukebox musical sequel Joker: Folie À Deux hasn't exactly been kind. In fact, it's been pretty damn brutal. Ever since the film premiered at the Venice Film Festival, this sequel from Todd Phillips starring Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga, the good news has been about as scarce as positive reviews. Now with the studio blame game train under a full head of steam, Joker: Folie À Deux will sneak its way onto digital retail platforms on October 29th with 4K and Blu-ray discs dropping down the chimney on December 17th in time for a very merry Christmas.
Joker: Folie À Deux finds Arthur Fleck institutionalized at Arkham awaiting trial for his crimes as Joker. While struggling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also finds the music that's always been inside him.

Your Collection Will Be Legendary - Even In Hell! Turbine Torments 4K UHD SteelBook with Hellraiser: Judgment on Nov. 7th
Posted Fri Oct 18, 2024 at 06:49 AM PDT by Matthew HartmanPeople can't stop opening that damned box! 2018's Hellraiser: Judgment written and directed by gore effects maestro Gary J. Tunnicliffe is getting the 4K Dolby Vision and Atmos treatment from Germany's Turbine Medien. To sweeten the torture of adding another fright flick to your collection, Turbine is offering four limited edition SteelBook Slipcover editions!
I'm not sure if you noticed, but after the first four films, the Hellraiser franchise kind of took a nose dive into some pretty rough direct-to-video sequels. The gore was there, but the majesty and mystery and terror of Pinhead and the puzzle box diminished with each entry. Hellraiser: Inferno was pretty decent, but the rest were less so until longtime franchise gore and makeup effects master Gary Tunnicliffe was handed the hooked chains for Hellraiser: Judgment. Certainly not the greatest entry, but compared to what hit VHS and DVD for about two decades, it was a welcome improvement! Now we can relive the torment in glorious eye-gouging Dolby Vision HDR with ear-splitting Dolby Atmos audio!

Here's what we'll get with each set:
Synopsis:
Pinhead and the Cenobites have to go to new demonic lengths to find their victims. The Auditor lures rotten characters from the fringes of society and subjects them to a perverse cleansing ritual that usually ends under the blade of the Surgeon. Meanwhile, three detectives are on the hunt for the Preceptor, a deviant serial killer who kills inspired by the Ten Commandments. The deeper the team delves into the crimes, the more it seems that the killer is not of this world...
"Tunnicliffe has managed to successfully reboot a flailing franchise... Tunnicliffe does NOT shy away from the violence or the perverse nature of the Cenobites in the slightest bit, creating a world that is as repugnant as it is demonic. He also manages to introduce some sensible new possibilities and plot devices while delivering the fan service weve so desperately been missing... Pinhead is omnipresent, and Taylor delivers a worthy performance and is every bit as majestic as youd hope hed be." - dreadcentral.com

Wood, Jr. – “the man who defined the term ‘Outsider Artist’ before it was even coined” (Daily Grindhouse) – with HARD WOOD: THE ADULT FEATURES OF ED WOOD, a loaded 3-disc Blu-ray set featuring a trio of his lurid ‘70s adult features now restored uncut from the ultimate source elements for the first time ever.
Near the end of his career, the angora-loving auteur behind PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE and GLEN OR GLENDA? earned his booze funds by writing and directing explicit adult films, and this eye-popping set delivers three of the most memorable: NECROMANIA – in both hard and soft versions – stars Rene Bond and The Amazing Criswell’s coffin in a tale of weird love shot in two days by Ed while wearing a pink babydoll outfit. Uschi Digard stars in THE ONLY HOUSE IN TOWN, a softcore saga of nonsensical dialog and orgiastic depravity. Wood’s bizarre final film, the thought lost THE YOUNG MARRIEDS, is presented in hard and its never-before-seen soft versions.
As a Bonus, J. Pat O’Malley and William Schallert star in the Wood-penned hicksploitation rarity SHOTGUN WEDDING, plus over 7 hours of Special Features that include three separate audio commentaries, a conversation with Bobcat Goldthwait and Dana Gould produced exclusively for this collection, the North American disc debut of The Incredibly Strange Film Show – Ed Wood Jr., plus 9 vintage sex loops and much more.

The Criterion Collection
January 2025 4K UHD & Blu-ray ReleasesYojimbo / Sanjuro Two Samurai Films by Akira Kurosawa
The Criterion Collection - 4K Ultra HD Blu-rayThanks to perhaps the most indelible character in Akira Kurosawa’s oeuvre, Yojimbo surpassed even Seven Samurai in popularity when it was released. The masterless samurai Sanjuro, who slyly manipulates two warring clans to his own advantage in a small, dusty village, was so entertainingly embodied by the brilliant Toshiro Mifune that it was only a matter of time before he returned in a sequel. Made just one year later, Sanjuro matches Yojimbo

The Mother and the Whore
The Criterion Collection - 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray1973 • 218 minutes • Black & White • Monaural • In French with English subtitles • 1.37:1 aspect ratio
After the French New Wave, the sexual revolution, and the upheavals of May 1968 came the near religiously revered magnum opus by Jean Eustache. In his long-unavailable body of work, ranging from documentaries about his native village to closely autobiographical narrative films, Eustache pioneered a forthright and fearless brand of realism. The pinnacle of this innovative style, The Mother and the Whore follows Alexandre (Jean-Pierre Léaud), a Parisian pseudo-intellectual who lives with his tempestuous girlfriend, Marie (Bernadette Lafont), even as he begins a dalliance with the sexually liberated Veronika (Françoise Lebrun), leading the three into an emotionally turbulent love triangle. Through daringly sustained long takes and confessional dialogue, Eustache captures a generation navigating the disillusionment of the 1970s, and in the process achieves an intimacy so deep it cuts.

- In the 4K UHD edition: One 4K UHD disc of the film and one Blu-ray with the film and special features

Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life is Calling
The Criterion Collection - 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray1986 • 97 minutes • Color • 2.0 surround • 2.39:1 aspect ratio
One of the greatest comedians of all time, Richard Pryor gets raw and real in this brutally funny and lacerating self-portrait. Following the notorious incident in which he caught on fire while high on cocaine, nearly losing his life, Pryor exorcised his inner demons by writing, producing, directing, and starring in this dizzying hall-of-mirrors biopic and backstage drama, which traces a young comedian’s rise to fame, from his childhood growing up in a brothel to the colorful experiences that shaped his edgy comic voice to the addiction struggles that brought him to the brink of death. As he did in his legendary stand-up sets, here Pryor fearlessly turns his soul inside out, revealing the deep vulnerability that made his art so compelling.

- In the 4K UHD edition: One 4K UHD disc of the film presented in Dolby Vision HDR and one Blu-ray with the film and special features

The Grifters
The Criterion Collection - 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray1990 • 110 minutes • Color • 2.0 surround • 1.85:1 aspect ratio
A dark-hearted neonoir comes to a boil under the bright Los Angeles sun, in British director Stephen Frears’s rousing adaptation of the novel by dime-store bard Jim Thompson, a film that raises pulp to the realm of existential tragedy. A possessive mother (Anjelica Huston), her cynical son (John Cusack), and his scheming, seductive girlfriend (Annette Bening) are career swindlers circling one another in an elaborate emotional confidence game that grows increasingly perverse as love and trust turn to betrayal and Oedipal undercurrents rise to the surface. In Frears’s first Hollywood film, the ever-assured director and his trifecta of magnetic actors conjure a moody, unstuck-in-time vision of toxic Americana.
DIRECTOR-APPROVED SPECIAL EDITION FEATURES
- New 4K digital restoration, approved by director of photography Oliver Stapleton, with 2.0 surround DTS-HD Master Audio soundtrack
- In the 4K UHD edition: One 4K UHD disc of the film presented in Dolby Vision HDR and one Blu-ray with the film and special features
- Audio commentary featuring director Stephen Frears, actors John Cusack and Anjelica Huston, and screenwriter Donald E. Westlake
- New interview with actor Annette Bening
- Short making-of documentary featuring Cusack, Frears, Huston, Westlake, and production designer Dennis Gassner
- Seduction, Betrayal, Murder: The Making of “The Grifters,” featuring interviews with Frears, Stapleton, editor Mick Audsley, executive producer Barbara De Fina, and coproducer Peggy Rajski
- The Jim Thompson Story, featuring Westlake and Robert Polito, biographer of The Grifters novelist Jim Thompson
- Trailer
- English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing
- PLUS: An essay by critic Geoffrey O’Brien
Winchester '73
The Criterion Collection - 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray1950 • 92 minutes • Black & White • Monaural • 1.35:1 aspect ratio
Noirish shadows spread across the frontier in this landmark western, the first of the celebrated collaborations between director Anthony Mann and actor James Stewart that redefined the genre with their moral and psychological intensity. Beginning his midcareer transition into increasingly edgy roles, Stewart portrays an avenging sharpshooter whose stolen rifle becomes a harbinger of death as it is passed from one doomed hand to the next. Featuring a stellar cast that includes a touching Shelley Winters, a sensationally sleazy Dan Duryea, and a pre-stardom Rock Hudson, this elemental tale of violence begetting violence broke new ground with its evocation of the West as a no-man’s-land of antiheroes and villains.
SPECIAL EDITION FEATURES
- New 4K digital restoration, undertaken by Universal Pictures in collaboration with The Film Foundation, with uncompressed monaural soundtrack
- In the 4K UHD edition: One 4K UHD disc of the film and one Blu-ray with the film and special features
- Audio commentary featuring actor James Stewart and film historian Paul Lindenschmidt
- New interview with film programmer Adam Piron on the portrayal of Native Americans in the Western genre
- Lux Radio Theatre adaptation of the film from 1951
- Trailer
- English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing
- PLUS: An essay by critic Imogen Sara Smith

Master The Suspense of Alfred Hitchcock: The Iconic Film Collection 6-Film 4K UHD Book on 11/26/24!
Posted Tue Oct 15, 2024 at 06:46 AM PDT by Matthew HartmanJust in time for Thanksgiving, Universal Studios Home Entertainment in partnership with Paramount Home Entertainment and Warner Brothers Home Entertainment will deliver six of Hitchcock's best in a deluxe book set. Rear Window, To Catch A Thief, Vertigo, North by Northwest, Psycho, and The Birds will be housed together on 4K UHD for the first time.
A year in physical media releases wouldn't be complete without another Hitchcock set to drool over. This time we're getting a little bit of everything. Rather than rehash the discs they've already delivered in 2160p with HDR, Universal smartly partnered up with Paramount and Warner Brothers to give fans of Hitchcock a taste of his most famous works in a deluxe coffee table-style book. Think along the lines of what Universal dropped for their Universal Monsters Collection, with articles and essays for each film along with the discs themselves. Now, by the time this set reaches shelves, all of these films will have been released in single-title, or box set form - and it doesn't look like we're getting anything "new" in that arena. If you're buying Warner Bros. upcoming North by Northwest or already have picked up Paramount's new 4K of To Catch a Thief then you've got everything on disc this set will have to offer.
However, if you haven't picked these up yet, this is a stylish piece to consider for the shelf!

Dreamworks' 'The Wild Robot' Soars Onto 4K UHD & Blu-ray December 3rd
Posted Mon Oct 14, 2024 at 06:43 AM PDT by Matthew HartmanAfter a couple weeks of charming audiences in theaters and doing some decent box office numbers, Universal has set Dreamworks' The Wild Robot for 4K UHD and Blu-ray on December 3rd. If you can't wait for the physical release, it starts theater-at-home streaming on October 15th.
I may not completely understand the wherewithal decision-making by sending a film that's still earning solid box office dollars to digital so quickly, but, Universal has set this beautifully animated adaptation of Peter Brown's book series for a holiday disc release frame. I figured it'd come to digital sooner than later, but when your flick just outpaced Joker and hasn't dropped out of the Top-Five at the box office, October 15th (i.e. TOMORROW) sounds pretty damn fast for a Theater-At-Home release. Nevertheless, Universal is pulling a Fall Guy. This film will hit Blu-ray and 4K disc on December 3rd, no sight or sound of a retailer-exclusive or 3D Blu-ray as of yet.
The Wild Robot - 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray

'Twisters' Takes 4K UHD & Blu-ray By Storm October 22nd!
Posted Tue Oct 1, 2024 at 07:50 AM PDT by Matthew HartmanAfter a successful run at the box office and early Theater-at-Home sales, Lee Isaac Chang's 2024 weather disaster epic 'Twisters' will suck up some of your finances for a 4K UHD, 4K SteelBook, and Blu-ray release on October 22nd. Expect Dolby Vision HDR and Atmos audio!
At this rate, there won't be a summer without Glen Powell's unflappable million-dollar smile! This follow-up to Jan De Bont's 1990s fan-favorite disaster epic proved to be a welcome summer surprise. Storming onto the busy box office, it had staying power amassing a nice global haul. Lee Isaac Chang proved the property is still a hit with fans without drenching the entire film in silly memberberry callbacks. I for one had a great time with this one at IMAX for a pair of viewings on the large screen format. Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell, the big storm hits home on 4K and Blu-ray! There is a Walmart-exclusive SteelBook on the way, but at the moment it's out of stock online. Hopefully, they've allocated plenty for in-store shoppers.

Warner Archive's November 2024 Blu-rays Up For Pre-Order!
Posted Mon Sep 30, 2024 at 07:24 PM PDT by Tom LandyThe Warner Archive Collection has revealed six new Blu-ray releases coming in November. They are Humoresque (1946), Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (1972-74): The Complete Series, That's Entertainment! (1974), Must Love Dogs (2005), The Complete Thin Man Collection (1934-47), and Looney Tunes Collector's Choice: Volume 4.
All six will be available for purchase on November 26.
Humoresque (1946) - Warner Archive Collection
Glamorous socialite Helen Wright (Joan Crawford) takes what she wants – clothes, alcohol, men – uses them up and tosses them aside. Then she meets brilliant young violinist Paul Boray (John Garfield). But this is one toy she can’t break. Instead, her love for Paul brings Helen to the breaking point. In this acclaimed and profound exploration of desire, Crawford makes Helen a rich, layered character torn between selfless love and selfish impulses Garfield matches her as the driven genius. Humoresque’s production values extend to the musical interludes, dubbed by Isaac Stern. Garfield’s dazzling technique is thanks to two real violinists hidden behind him -one to do the fingering and one the bow work. Bravo! New 2024 1080p HD master from 4K scan of the Original Nitrate Camera Negative.
Wait Till Your Father Gets Home (1972-74): The Complete Series - Warner Archive Collection
The Age of Aquarius dawned. Harry Boyle forgot to set his alarm. Inspired by the era of live-action TV series such as All in The Family comes the Hanna-Barbera generation-gap animated comedy Wait Till Your Father Gets Home. Tom Bosley provides the voice of Harry, an affable 40-something Everyman and suburban father of three whose daily routine is anything but when he faces the provocative questions of the make-love-not-war era. Women’s Lib, civil rights, hippies, sexuality, communes and the Cold War are some of the hot button petals in this series’ flower-powered laugh-fest. They’re all part of Harry’s world, where a man’s home is his hassle. This complete series set of two seasons and 48 episodes, is highlighted by guest voice appearances from Monty Hall, Don Knotts, Phyllis Diller and Rich Little. New 2024 1080pHD masters from 4K scans of the original camera negatives.
That's Entertainment! (1974) - Warner Archive Collection
M-G-M marked its 50th anniversary with this outstanding collection of musical performances from the studio’s reign as the king of the genre during Hollywood’s golden era. Drawing from more than 100 feature films, writer/producer/director Jack Haley Jr.’s compilation took the box-office by storm, becoming one of the highest grossing films of 1974, and brought excerpts from timeless gems from "An American in Paris" to "Ziegfeld Follies to audiences new and old in just 135 magical minutes. For this special occasion, Haley called upon great stars to ‘host’ this brilliantly conceived cinematic event: Fred Astaire, Bing Crosby, Gene Kelly, Peter Lawford, Liza Minnelli, Donald O’Connor, Debbie Reynolds, Mickey Rooney, Frank Sinatra, James Stewart and Elizabeth Taylor. This celebration of the M-G-M musical has been painstakingly remastered from the best existing elements to yield a new presentation that finally does justice to Haley's dazzling cinematic achievement, which cemented the importance of the M-G-M musical's unique place in film history. NEW 2024 1080p HD remaster, re-constructed from original negatives and preservation elements
Must Love Dogs (2005) - Warner Archive Collection
Pretty pre-school teacher Sarah Nolan (Diane Lane) is divorced, demoralized and dateless – until her sister posts her profile at perfectmatch.com. Now she has lots of dates. With weirdos, weepers, lechers, jocks, and Jake (John Cusack), a soulful boat builder whose idea of true love come straight out of Doctor Zhivago. Jake is attractive, smart and maybe a bit too intense. So Sarah passes him by. And maybe passes up her one real chance for love. With a witty script and irresistible stars (including Christopher Plummer as Sarah’s widowed dad, weaving his own worldwide web of romance, and Stockard Channing as his new lady friend), this romantic comedy is as delightful a surprise as a perfect blind date. Don’t miss out: love could be just a mouse click away!
The Complete Thin Man Collection (1934-47) - Warner Archive Collection
Now they're together in one Blu-ray collection! The sparkling M-G-M series featured the irresistible William Powell and Myrna Loy chemistry as husband and wife who solved murders with the aid of their wire-haired terrier, Asta. Set in the glamorous world of 1930s and 40s upper-class Manhattan, The Thin Man and its sequels established a timeless standard for witty comedy, clever dialogue and urbane one upmanship. The 6-Disc set includes THE THIN MAN (1934), AFTER THE THIN MAN (1936), ANOTHER THIN MAN (1939), SHADOW OF THE THIN MAN (1941), SONG OF THE THIN MAN (1944) and THE THIN MAN GOES HOME (1947). Each film has been meticulously remastered and restored for Blu-ray, from 4K scans of the best surviving preservation elements. Additionally, each feature in the collection is accompanied by its original theatrical trailer, plus vintage short subjects and animated cartoons to help re-create the way these films were first presented in theaters upon their original release. It’s an essential collection of screen classics that belong in every serious film lover’s library.

'Speak No Evil' Terrorizes Blu-ray Collectors November 19th
Posted Mon Sep 30, 2024 at 06:26 AM PDT by Matthew HartmanAfter terrorizing theatergoers with a barrage of trailers and a successful box-office take, James Watkins' 2024 thriller 'Speak No Evil' arrives on Blu-ray November 19th - Digital rental/sell-through October 1st!
James McAvoy once again dials up the creepiness for James Watkins' 2024 thriller Speak No Evil. No doubt, if you went to the theater at least once in the last six months you probably saw at least three trailers for this film. Over-marketing aside, the film is actually a solid, well-made remake of the 2022 Danish thriller Gæsterne. While the film is still in theaters (and performing relatively well), Universal is pulling something of a Fall Guy and ushering the film onto digital rental and sell-through platforms on October 1st with a Blu-ray disc release due November 19th. "Why no 4K?" you might ask, we have no idea. But, if past is prologue, expect an international 4K disc down the line before a domestic release later on.
Speak No Evil (2024) - Blu-ray
Here's what's coming our way:

- THE FARMHOUSE OF HORRORS - Immerse yourself in the farmhouse and learn how this location was reimagined into a place of nightmares as cast and crew walk you through the different production design and camera elements that added to the eeriness of the film.

At Home Everyone Can Hear You Scream When 'Alien: Romulus' Bursts Onto 4KUHD & Blu-ray December 3rd
Posted Thu Sep 26, 2024 at 07:32 AM PDT by Matthew HartmanAfter enjoying a box office run that'd make any Xenomorph queen happy, Fede Alvarez's chilling franchise installment Alien: Romulus will chest burst onto your favorite physical media formats on December 3rd (Digital Streaming starts October 15th in time for Halloween). Fans can expect a disc loaded with extras including alternate and extended scenes, and making-of featurettes.
When you've got a franchise that's lasted nearly fifty years, it takes a younger director with a unique vision and an eye for viscera to create a chilling new entry in the Alien saga. While not perfect, I'd consider Fede Alvarez's Alien: Romulus a successful outing. Overall I liked how it tied up a few loose strands, gave us a horrifying view of what terraforming might look like, while expanding the franchise into some new territory ahead of the FX series Alien: Earth due out next year. Now on home video, we can digest the film in the comfort of home. Now the official press release was a bit sketchy, didn't give us complete packaging pictures, but there will be a limited edition SteelBook as well as standalone 4k UHD, Blu-ray, and for those still grabbing DVD - that too.

Marvel Jesus 'Deadpool & Wolverine' Storms onto Multiple 4K UHD, SteelBook, and Blu-ray Releases October 22nd!
Posted Wed Sep 25, 2024 at 07:19 AM PDT by Matthew HartmanAfter a smash box office run, Deadpool and Wolverine is locked and loaded for a massive run on Physical Media. Fans can pick up multiple 4K UHD SteelBooks, a Walmart-exclusive Blu-ray, or just plain simple standard editions if they want - but where's the fun in that?
Take a Forrest Bump and get ready to grab Deadpool and Wolverine on your favorite disc-based media format! 'Deadpool & Wolverine' not only managed to resurrect Hugh Jackman's career-defining character, but it also brought the MCU box office back to life after several expensive misfires or flat-out bombs. While the film is still raking in the bucks at the box office, Disney/Marvel is going to do something scary and drop Deadpool and Wolverine onto 4K UHD and Blu-ray with several specialty packaging options on October 22nd.
Marvel Studios presents their most significant mistake to date – Deadpool & Wolverine. A listless Wade Wilson toils away in civilian life. His days as the morally flexible mercenary, Deadpool, behind him. When his home world faces an existential threat, Wade must reluctantly suit up again with an even more reluctantlier... reluctanter? Reluctantest? He must convince a reluctant Wolverine to... oh hell, just watch the movie. Synopses are stupid.
