Update includes free access to the Unreal Engine 4 Elemental Demo.
Boy how things change. Not long ago, Unreal 3 Engine access meant spending a mint, and then hunting around a close forum for fixe from other mint-spending engine subscribers. Today, Unreal 4 can be had for just $19 a month plus a 5% revenue fee to Epic. And today's Unreal 4.1 update is all in the public view.
The 4.1 update include native Steam OS/Linux support, (for pushing projects onto), plus a load of important in-editor fixes like an Undo History Window, a string Translation Editor, and a special Asset Deletion Assistant that helps track each reference to a deleted asset.
Plus, Epic is giving Unreal 4 subscribers access to the project files for last summer's incredible Elemental demo.
The entire changelist can be found here.
Also, a Twitch stream is happening this afternoon at 11:30 PT / 2:30 ET with both Mike and Unreal Engine GM Ray Davis. That stream can be accessed here.
