Disney Announces Mandalorian SSN 3, Ahsoka, Hawkeye, & Loki SSN 2 for 4K UHD SteelBook In Dolby Vision with Atmos December 3rd!

More fan-favorite Disney+ seasons of our favorite shows are coming to 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray with more glorious SteelBook packaging. To make things interesting, each episode of each series will finally be blessed with Dolby Vision HDR! Pre-orders start October 31st!

One can question any number of decisions Disney makes for their catalog releases, but you have to give them credit where credit is due. Their first two rounds of Disney+ Marvel and Star Wars shows were overwhelming successes. Even regulated to HDR10, the A/V presentation of the 4K discs offered a superior experience than their streaming counterparts. For this third round of releases, Disney is finally getting on board with Dolby Vision HDR in addition to HDR10 with Atmos for every episode! Here's what's coming our way! 

However, for 1080p Blu-ray fans out there, nothing in this press release indicated a standard Blu-ray release. We don't know what's up there and are trying to pindown some confirmation if these releases will be on both formats or just a 4K option going forward.

The Walt Disney Company has revealed that four all-new collector’s editions of popular Disney+ Original series from Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios will be available on 4K UHD on December 3. The special must-have releases feature sleek SteelBook® packaging, exclusive concept art cards and never-before-seen bonus content, making them an absolute must-have for fans to add to their collection. 

All four titles will be available to pre-order from October 31, 2024.

Like the previous Lucasfilm and Marvel Studios Collector’s Editions released earlier this year (Star Wars: Obi-Wan Kenobi, Star Wars: Andor Season 1, Marvel Studios’ The Falcon and The Winter Soldier Season 1 and Marvel Studios’ Moon Knight Season 1), each of these new releases will be available nationally on 4K UHD SteelBook® with brand-new box art designed by popular artist Attila Szarka and collectible concept art cards.

Additionally, the four titles will be the first Disney+ Originals to include breathtaking 4K Ultra HD Dolby Vision® along with Atmos® audio, delivering an unforgettable home theater experience with jaw-dropping visuals and immersive, cinematic sound!

Star Wars: The Mandalorian The Complete Third Season - 4K UHD SteelBook

SYNOPSIS
The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history.
