German boutique label Turbine Media Group gives Vin Diesel's star-making outing Pitch Black a new 3-Disc Ultimate Edition 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray release. Not only will you get the film presented in 4K with Dolby Vision HDR (and HDR10), Turbine is sweetening the deal with a brand new exclusive Atmos audio mix! If their work on Twister or The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is any indication, that Atmos track should be a beast. 

But wait there's more!

Not to stop with a new audio mix, the set comes with two extra Blu-ray discs loaded with archival bonus features from previous releases (including the animated Dark Fury) but the set will also come with new exclusive cast and crew interviews. If that's not enough you also get a bunch of slick swag including reprint lobby cards, ID, patch, and posters. To cap it off there's also a 180-page booklet included - in German. Now normally I'd be a little bummed about the booklet appearing only in German, but I've had some pretty good luck lately with the Google Text Translate app on my phone - not an ideal solution but it actually works pretty well!
