Selfish players might want to consider other teams.
In the lead-up to 'Rainbow Six Siege,' one of the upcoming additions to the Tom Clancy series of games, the Ubisoft YouTube channel has been producing videos that introduce fans to the different international counter-terrorism teams that will be featured in the game. This time around, we get to meet the French unit, the GIGN.
The four members of the GIGN team seem to be more designed around supporting teammates than some of the other characters introduced so far. "Montagne" wields a shield that can withstand low-calibre gunfire, giving teammates more options for cover when breaching a room. "Doc" carries a Stim Pistol that can heal allies at medium range. "Rook" can boost his team's defenses by distributing extra armor packs.
Finally, "Twitch" controls a small drone that can sneak under barriers and sabotage enemy defenses before the soldiers even get there.
The beta for 'Rainbow Six Siege' will start up on September 24. You can preorder to secure your spot in the beta.
