Anticipated title pushed to 2016
Owing to a crowded 2015 lineup for the XBox One, Microsoft's head of publishing, Shannon Loftis, released a statement today that Remedy Entertainment's 'Quantum Break' is being delayed until 2016. This follows statements made by Phil Spencer last year that Microsoft may have overscheduled themselves for 2015.
Nevertheless, Remedy won't just be twiddling their thumbs in the meantime. Addressing the issue, Remedy's Sam Bell stated, "We thank our fans for their patience, and want them to know that the team is taking advantage of this opportunity to polish and fine tune the game to create the kind of standout entertainment experience they've come to expect from us."
Microsoft also took the time to note that 'Quantum Break's TV show counterpart is also still in development, despite XBox's Entertainment Studio closing last year.
