E3 2016: HyperX Launches Official Xbox-Licensed CloudX Headset for Xbox One

The new HyperX CloudX gaming headset for the Xbox One is available now.

Developed in a partnership with Microsoft, HyperX's new CloudX gaming headset is an officially licensed Xbox headset designed for use with Elite wireless controllers or any Xbox One controllers with a 3.5mm stereo headset jack. It's also Windows compatible and includes a 2M PC extension cable with stereo and microphone plugs.

The CloudX boasts in-line audio control to adjust volume and mute the mic on the fly, a hard-shell carrying case for travel, 100% memory foam ear cushions, and HiFi capable 53mm drivers enclosed in a closed up design. Two sets of interchangeable ear cups (velour cushions) help with sound isolation and optimal on-ear comfort. In other words, these headphones not only sound good and are comfortable, but they isolate you from environmental noise.

The CloudX also features a detachable noise-canceling microphone so this headset can function for gaming as well as music and movies.
