HyperX's first console-focused headset.
HyperX has announced today that they've entered into an agreement with Microsoft to become an officially licensed headset partner for Xbox One, and will be releasing the upcoming HyperX CloudX Pro Gaming Headset in Q2 2016. Whereas previous HyperX headsets have been aimed squarely at PC gamers, this will be the company's first headset aimed entirely at the console market.
It's based on the HyperX Cloud II, boasting 53mm audio drivers, in-line volume controls, memory foam ear cushions, and a leather-padded headband with custom stitching. The closed-cup design blocks out ambient noise and it also features a detachable microphone, as well as a hard shell carrying case to protect the headset when traveling.
