The shooter gets its fifth major update.
Electronic Arts announced today that 'Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2' (check out the review here) has received a new content update for free. Called 'Frontline Fighters,' the update adds online split-screen play, five new maps, and two new character classes. That's not all, as over 2,000 (that is not a typo) customization items and eight character variants have also been added.
EA also announced that new players can pick up 'Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2: Festive Edition' starting today. This digital-only version of the game will be available for a limited time and will cost £34.99. On top of all of the game's free updates, the 'Festive Edition' includes "immediate access to two new Legendary character variants, one festive holiday customization pack, and 200,000 in-game coins."
'Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare 2 is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
