Coming to PS4 in the near future.
Indie developer Ryan Juckett has announced that his negative-space shooter 'Inversus' has received a second major update since it released on PC and PS4 last month. While the game's signature black and white art style is still the default, players can now unlock 45 different color palettes to liven up the experience. Players can pick which colors they like, and the game will shuffle between them.
Other changes deal with the game's online play, as over 250 unlockable emotes have been added so players can express themselves between rounds. An experience level system has also been added, which tracks the player's progress in arcade and versus mode. This level will be shown off online, and each new level will unlock an emote or color. Finally, 'Inversus' also has new leaderboards and better online matchmaking. While the update is only out on PC today, Juckett says the PS4 version "won't be far off."
'Inversus' is available now on Steam and PlayStation 4 for $14.99.
