Ready for PSVR's October launch.
Rebellion's virtual reality infused reboot of Atari's 'Battlezone' has gone gold today, according to an announcement from the independent UK studio. Now that the PlayStation VR launch title is ready to be printed, the developer has opened up pre-orders ahead of its October 13th release. Currently it's only available to be pre-ordered digitally from the PlayStation Store in Europe, but Rebellion wants players to sign up on their website to be notified when 'Battlezone' becomes available in additional territories. It's worth noting that Sony will be publishing 'Battlezone' physically in North America and Europe, so some PS4 owners might want to wait until that version is up for purchase.
Rebellion has also released a brand new trailer for the tank combat title showing off all of the accolades it has received since its reveal. The video also shows off some of the game's first-person campaign, and what missions players can expect from it.
'Battlezone' is set to release alongside PlayStation VR on October 13th, and is coming to PC.
