E3 show this year will be dedicated to focusing on the title.
Though it's been rumoured for quite some time, Nintendo has announced that the new 'Legend of Zelda' title has been delayed to 2017 to improve the game's quality. Additionally, the title will be heading for a simultaneous release on both the Wii U and NX. Considering the last footage of the game was shown off in 2013, shortly before the NX rumours started cropping up, this isn't terribly surprising. Additionally, Nintendo has confirmed that their E3 conference this year will focus almost entirely on showing off the title, so it seems we'll finally be receiving some substantial information in just a couple of months.
As the studio's first foray with the series into an entirely open world, delaying it both to hit the NX and to improve the quality of it is a good idea. The game shows promise, so any steps taken to live up to that are worthwhile.
