"This delay is in the interest of delivering the best possible WWE experience to you."
Even as the September calendar turns, the November release calendar gets even more packed. 2K Games has announced that 'WWE 2K15' for the PS4 and Xbox One is now set to release on November 18th (November 21st internationally). Meanwhile, the 360 and PS3 versions remain set for October 28th (October 31st internationally). This year of course is the first time the 'WWE' series will grace the new consoles, and it is also the first time the series is firmly in the hands of 2K.
2K Games and Visual Concepts have explained that the extra time is necessary for those next-gen versions.
From 2K Games,
This delay is in the interest of delivering the best possible WWE experience to you, the fans, and 2K's development teams are working hard to ensure its success.
From Greg Thomas, President, Visual Concepts, "Visual Concepts and Yuke’s are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles. The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations."
