Single player, coop, and one heck of a challenge.
Ubisoft has come clean on some upcoming 'Far Cry 4' DLC (check out the main game review here) and interestingly enough, this sounds like the best use of the 'Far Cry' playground in a long time. In 'Escape from Durgesh Prison,' players take up the roles of Ajay and Hurk, who are bereft of supplies after being captured. The players are then tasked to recover their gear and get it upgraded through a series of challenges across Kyrat, including side objectives dictated by Pagan Min. All of this gearing up is a lead up to a final stand-off with Yuma's forces.
According to Ubisoft, "when players die they must start the mission over again and use the knowledge and skills they gained during their previous run through" in order to safely reach the extraction point.
'Escape from Durgesh Prison' DLC will be available come January 13th for a price of $9.99 or as aprt of the $29.99 Season Pass.
