See what will be new with Xbox One once the UI update hits in November.
Xbox One players probably look forward to November as the time when the Xbox backwards compatibility program will officially launch, but that functionality will be just one aspect of the Xbox One update currently in the works, as detailed in an Xbox Wire post. Some of these upcoming features are about to roll out for select preview program participants, but the rest of the Xbox One community can still check out what's in store.
The upcoming Xbox One update is built for speed, allowing players to reach their intended games, apps, shows, and movies faster than before. From the Home page, players can access their pinned apps and most recently played games quickly just by pulling the right or left trigger, respectively. A new Guide feature will also keep friend information, notifications, and messages in one convenient place.
This focus on decreasing the time players spend rummaging through menus also extends to the Xbox One Store and OneGuide, the hub for all of Xbox One's media content.
You can check out the full list of upcoming features on Xbox Wire.
