The date should look a little familiar, too.
After months of hardcore drooling over the fully customizable Xbox One Elite controllers, multiple retailers, including the official Microsoft Store, have now corroborated the official release date: October 27th.
The date should look pretty familiar. It's the exact same day 'Halo 5' comes out. Total coincidence, we're sure. For the tinkerers out there, here's everything that's going to be included:
--Carrying case
--4 paddles
--6 thumbsticks: standard (2), tall (2), and domed (2)
--2 D-pads: faceted and standard
--USB cable
--AA batteries
--Quick setup guide and product manual
There's also still an app coming allowing you to set custom profiles for the controller once it's configured however you like. Also keeping in mind, if you feel like waiting, the controller will be included in the $500 Elite system bundle coming in November that comes with an solid state hybrid drive. For everybody else, though, it'll be $150.
