Where one beta ends, another begins.
'Smite,' the third-person MOBA that has players battling it out as gods from various world pantheons, is leaving its beta on PS4 behind and launching for the console Tuesday, May 31. But the game's trek to different platforms continues, as the 'Smite' beta for Mac OSX has opened up on Steam.
Mac players who have wanted to test their skill in the Battleground of the Gods can download the beta now through Steam. 'Smite' players who already have a Hi-Rez account can use their existing information; new players will need to create an account before jumping into the fray. New Mac players will also be able to battle with friends who already play 'Smite' on PC, as the two operating systems will share the same player base.
