Final, beautiful sign off for the one true Shepard.
What May 4th is to 'Star Wars' fans, November 7th is to 'Mass Effect' fans. It's the officially designated day to geek right the hell out about what is still one of the greatest trilogies of games to ever happen, despite what any lingering haters have to say about 'ME3's endings. Bioware typically makes it a heavy fan affair, with giveaways and livestreams and whatnot, so while they don't have any actual news about the still very early in development 'Mass Effect: Andromeda', they did, apparently, decide to put together something short, but wonderful in the interim.
The video below, interspersed with real NASA footage, is, essentially, Commander Shepard's final, goosebump-inducing speech to the next crew to take to the stars in the name of interplanetary freedom and exploration. And by the by, when we say Commander Shepard, yes, we're talking about the one and only Jennifer Hale doing the narration here, a beautiful "Last survivor of the Nostromo" moment to say goodbye to her (vastly superior) version of the character, and welcome in the new crew, whose badass ship we get a fleeting glimpse of at the end of this video. See for yourself below.
