Microsoft disables free copies after glitch.
Yes, we know, everybody loves free crap, but Microsoft doesn't, when it means full on $60 games, and as such, they issued a message yesterday to some users with some bad news.
Earlier in the week, a glitch made 'Fallout 4' available for free on Xbox Live, and more than a few folks were able to jump on that with all speed, even as quickly as Microsoft was able to shut things down. Well, yesterday, anybody who was able to nab the game without paying the price got this message in their inbox today: "Our pricing error on Fallout 4 has been fixed and your free download will no longer work. For the inconvenience we will deposit $10 by the end of June in your Microsoft Account. This expires one year from the time it was deposited."
So, upside, if you got to download free 'Fallout', you get $10 for your genius. Which, ironically, is exactly how much the DLC costs.
