To the surprise of absolutely no one.
Activision has basically been in the same place as Warner Bros was with 'Arkham Knight' when it comes to 'Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5', except there's not even a good version of that game floating out there for folks to enjoy while they iron out the kinks. With the current gen versions under serious repair, Activision has decided to do the smart thing and hold off on 360/PS3 ports for the time being.
In a statement to Eurogamer, Activision has confirmed the delay: "We are working closely with our developers to address the issues identified by our community. Our development resources are fully focused on fixes and content updates for PS4 and Xbox One, so we have decided to delay the release of 'THPS5' on PS3 and X360. We will update the community when we have more specific information about a release date for PS3 and Xbox 360."
The publisher is hard at work with co-developer Robomodo to fix up the game Though, really, would the polished game ever give us the opportunity to play as a disembodied, floating pair of legs on a skateboard? Don't think so.
