Friday The 13th Collection Disc Replacement Details From Shout! Factory

Happy Friday the 16th!

As we work to pull together full coverage for this full set - we're breaking out coverage into three distinct eras of the franchise for convenience - Shout! Factory has issued a statement regarding some of the disc errors fans have noticed - and they will be replacing them ASAP. From their statement, they hope to have replacements out by November 2020 - so pretty fast turn around. 

Discs affected are:

Friday the 13th Part 3 3-D: (When viewing in 3D) First instance of 3D opening credits does not come out of the screen correctly.

Jason Goes to Hell: (Unrated Cut) Missing “snapped wrist” gore in an uncut scene. 

Jason X: Missing audio during a scene in the film in which Jason kills camp counselors in a sleeping bag.

We hope to have our first round of coverage for this set very shorty, but with 12 films and 16 discs on top of HOURS of bonus features - this has been a big effort. As we get our replacement discs we'll keep you posted on those changes as well.
