POKÉMON: DETECTIVE PIKACHU Dated and Detailed for 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D (Best Buy Exclusive), and Blu-ray

Warner Brothers says Pokémon: Detective Pikachu will be available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray on August 6. A 3D release will be exclusive to Best Buy.

The first-ever live-action Pokémon adventure, Pokémon: Detective Pikachu stars Ryan Reynolds (the "Deadpool" films, "Buried," "Life") as Detective Pikachu and is based on the beloved Pokémon brand—one of the world's most popular, multi-generation entertainment properties and most successful media franchises of all time. With Detective Mode on Blu-ray, watch Pokémon: Detective Pikachu like you've never seen it before and discover a world of hidden clues, behind-the-scenes footage, pop-up trivia, Pokémon facts, fun featurettes, Easter eggs and more!

Pokémon: Detective Pikachu also stars Justice Smith ("Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom," "Paper Towns," "Every Day") as Tim and Kathryn Newton ("Lady Bird," TV's "Big Little Lies," "Blockers") as Lucy, a junior reporter following her first big story. The supporting cast includes Suki Waterhouse ("Insurgent," "Love, Rosie," "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies"), Omar Chaparro ("Overboard," "Kung Fu Panda"), Chris Geere (TV's "Modern Family," TV's "You're The Worst," "Ill Behavior"), multi-platinum-selling singer-songwriter Rita Ora (TV's "America's Next Top Model," "Fifty Shades Of Grey"), Oscar nominee Ken Watanabe ("The Last Samurai," "Inception," "Godzilla") and Bill Nighy ("Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1," "Love Actually," "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest").
