Free 'Sonic Lost World' DLC takes Sonic to Link's world.
Last October, Sega released the Wii U and 3DS exclusive 'Sonic Lost World,' and the game was received as the best 3D Sonic in a decade. Now though, Sega has released a nice bonus for 'Sonic Lost World' owners and fans of 'The Legend of Zelda,' an entire Zone inspired directly the 'The Legend of Zelda.'
In 'The Legend of Zelda Zone,' Sonic gets a new outfit and a new quest as he rolls through areas like Hyrule Field and Dodongo's Cavern. Sonic can chase after Link on his Loftwing, find hidden rooms and chests, and take on a nice set of 'LoZ' enemies, even Cuccos.
'The Legend of Zelda Zone' is now available for the Wii U version of 'Sonic Lost World.'
From the High-Def Digest review of 'Sonic Lost World:'
"'Lost World' represents something outrageously new for the Sonic Team over at Sega. They are finally making a real step in the direction of that original vision: translating Sonic's platforming and speed into 3D, thrills and all."
