10th Anniversary sees a new sequel to the original.
'Disgaea D2: A Brighter Darkness,' the latest in the 'Disgaea' series hits shelves this week, and cuts through the sequels and spinoffs almost all the way back to the PS2 original.

The game occurs in the Netherworld, a brutal place of struggle and mistrust, wherein which Laharl becomes Overlord. In order to prove hi status, he embarks on a journey in which he encounters a girl who claims to be his sister, and that is where the player takes control.
