The 2013 Stephen King adaptation will dump buckets of blood on Blu-ray in January.
In an early announcement to retailers, 20th Century Fox/MGM is preparing 'Carrie' for Blu-ray on January 14.
'Carrie' is a reimagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloƫ Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom.
The Blu-ray/DVD/Digital Copy combo pack will feature 1080p video, a lossless 5.1 soundtrack, and supplements include: Alternate Ending; "Bringing Back Carrie" Featurette; Deleted/Extended Scenes with Commentary by Director Kimberly Peirce; Commentary by Director Kimberly Peirce; The Power of Telekinesis; Telekinetic Coffee Shop Surprise; and Theatrical Trailer.
Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is still undetermined at this time.
