Bethesda's injunction was denied and Interplay is cleared to start working on 'Fallout Online' again.
This is a story that goes way back - even before the release of 'Fallout 3.' To make this very long story short, let's just say that Bethesda and Interplay haven't really gotten along on the whole "who gets to make 'Fallout' games" issue.
One of the things that's been a sticking point for the two companies is a planned 'Fallout' MMO that Interplay has been working out called, cleverly enough, 'Fallout Online.' Bethesda has some big concerns about the game, one of which is that Interplay just won't be able to do a good job with it, primarily because they lack the funds to do so.
Today a court ruling determined that Interplay was good to go on production of the game and that there was no serious concern of the business going under or lacking the funds to do a good job on the project. It's another small step in a massive legal battle between the companies, but any progress on this is good progress.
