FIFA 15

Major releases return post 'Destiny' blackout.

'FIFA 15' (Xbox One, PS4, 360, PS3, Wii, Vita, 3DS, PC)

'FIFA 15' has to be the true crown of EA and EA Sports offerings. This year's simulation of the beautiful game heads in with true new console expectations after last year's winter debut. The players now exhibit EA's emotional intelligence, the match presentation has been tweaked, and there is an all-new version keeper mechanics. Also, EA has made some serious changes to the FIFA Ultimate Team system.

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) (Ps4, PC)

This second year of 'Disney Infinity' couldn't be more huge. With ' Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes,' the series is debuting on the new consoles, and… of yeah, bringing in the might of the Marvel Universe, including Guardians of the Galaxy. Along with revamped toy box system, this year looks like a must-have for families who are open to collecting lots of figures.

Hyrule Warriors (Wii U)

This is it. No it's not a typical 'Legend of Zelda' game, in fact, 'Hyrule Warriors' is really a 'Dynasty Warriors' game in Link clothing. (Check out the review here.) This being the rare 'Dynasty Warriors' title to make it to a Nintendo console, 'Zelda' fans might need to learn a different, albeit button mashy genre. The payoff though is nothing short of a celebration of the characters and locales of the long beloved Nintendo series.

Gauntlet (PC)

Born of the arcades, 'Gauntlet' was reborn in glory during the 90's with 'Gauntlet Legends'. The hope has to be with this new PC only co-op 'Gauntlet' that lightning will strike again. Hopefully, a deeper system of equippable items and player customization can make this darker game more palatable for modern audiences.

The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (PC)

In their way, Nordic Games keeps the adventure game candle burning, but with 'The Vanishing of Ethan Carter,' the subject matter appears to have taken a dark and brutal turn. Can't wait to see how it all plays out.
