'Trine 3: The Artifact of Power' Will Be 3D

Frozenbyte has revealed that a new 'Trine' title is in development. While the series has always been a 2D platformer (3D art, 2D plane), this new game adds a third dimension of gameplay. This hopefully comes as good news to fans of 3D displays, as Frozenbyte has typically supported passive and active 3D displays on the PS3 and PS4 with 'Trine' and 'Trine 2.'

Naturally, 'Trine 3' can be tackled either solo or with two friends. Both local and co-op support is planned. 'Trine 3' is set for PC, but other platform versions are expected.
