The premium network is now available through Sling TV.
Sling TV has announced the addition of Showtime to its add-on content selection. The Showtime package includes eight different channels and is available now for $10 per month with a Sling TV subscription.
"We know our price and the ability to personalize your channel lineup are why consumers prefer Sling TV, so we'll continue to offer more customizable options like this," said Glenn Eisen, chief marketing officer of Sling TV. "SHOWTIME offers Sling TV customers additional high-quality live and on-demand content, including hit series like ‘Homeland’ and 'Billions.'"
Showtime for Sling TV features access to eight live TV channels, along with nearly 2,000 on-demand titles, offering a growing collection of movies, sporting events, documentaries, comedy specials, and original shows like Homeland, Billions, Ray Donovan, and the upcoming Twin Peaks limited series. The full Showtime channel lineup includes SHOWTIME, SHOWTIME 2, SHOWTIME SHOWCASE, SHOWTIME EXTREME, SHOWTIME BEYOND, SHOWTIME NEXT, SHOWTIME WEST, and SHOWTIME WOMEN.
Outside of Showtime, Sling TV offers a variety of live streaming and on-demand programming packages. The base Sling TV Orange plan currently costs $20 per month and features more than 30 channels, including Disney/ESPN stations. Meanwhile, the base Sling TV Blue plan costs $25 per month and features more than 40 channels, including FOX and NBC stations. Finally, customers can also opt to combine both plans for $40 per month.
The Showtime add-on package is currently available for all Sling TV users for an additional $10 per month. Sling TV also offers add-on packages for HBO, Cinemax, and Starz, making it the first over-the-top (OTT) service to feature content from all four leading premium networks.
