The kid and safety-friendly headphones are set to launch later this month.
Puro Sound Labs has announced the reintroduction of its JuniorJams Headphones. The new versions are set to start shipping on August 19 in blue or pink for $49.99.
"We are expanding our product line so more families can afford to safely equip their kids with headphones that offer our Puro Sound audio performance and safe volume limiting," says Alex Silverman, Executive Vice President of Puro Sound Labs. "In designing the JuniorJams we rolled up everything a parent would need and a child would want from a headphone. Safety, durability, ease of use, comfort, cool style and awesome sound help these headphones keep both the front seat and the back seat happy."
Geared toward kids and designed with hearing safety in mind, the JuniorJams headphones feature 85dB volume-limiting tech so young users can't listen to audio at hearing-damaging levels. Likewise, the headphones also offer 87% ambient noise isolation to help block out ambient sound. In addition, the device uses Puro Sound Labs' Balanced Response Curve, resulting in better bass, treble, and vocal clarity at lower volumes. Bluetooth 4.2 wireless playback is included as well, along with up to 22 hours of battery life. Meanwhile, a daisy-chain option is also supported, enabling two pairs of headphones to play the same source simultaneously so different users can listen together. Finally, the headphones feature an aluminum headband and a protein leather ear cushion for a comfortable but sturdy construction.
