'Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries: Series 2' Blu-ray Dated

A new batch of mysteries will unravel on Blu-ray in May. You can pre-order the show now. 

In an early announcement to retailers, Acorn Media is preparing 'Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries: Series 2' for Blu-ray on May 27.

Gorgeously costumed and evocatively shot, 'Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries' returns with star Essie Davis ('Cloudstreet') as the Honorable Miss Phryne Fisher, a thoroughly modern woman of the late 1920s operating in a mostly male world. The glamorous “lady detective” goes about her work with a pistol close at hand—and, more often than not, a male admirer even closer. Based on the popular detective novels by Kerry Greenwood.

The Blu-ray will feature 1080i video, a DTS-HD MA 2.0 soundtrack, and supplements will include: Behind-the-Scenes Clips; Season's Greetings; Promos; and Photo Gallery.

Suggested list price for the Blu-ray is $59.99.
