Let Evil Dead Rise Possess Your 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray Collection June 27

Director Lee Cronin keeps the blood flowing in the next chapter in Sam Raimi's iconic franchise arriving on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, Blu-ray and DVD on June 27. Digital will be available on May 9.

In “Evil Dead Rise,” the action moves out of the woods and into the city, and tells a twisted tale of two estranged sisters, played by Lily Sullivan and Alyssa Sutherland, whose reunion is cut short by the rise of flesh-possessing demons, thrusting them into a primal battle for survival as they face the most nightmarish version of family imaginable.

Both the 4K UHD Blu-ray and Blu-ray will include a Dolby Atmos, however special features haven't been revealed yet.

In the U.K. there's also an Evil Dead Rise - 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray SteelBook option, but we haven't seen that appear for pre-order anywhere here stateside, yet. That could change (and hopefully it will).

Suggested retail price for the 4K UHD Blu-ray is $44.98 and the Blu-ray is $34.98 - but Amazon already has them on sale.
