Few details abound, yet intriguing nevertheless.
Sony rolled up another indie game for the PS4 today with the announcement of ‘VizionEck.’ Lead developer Michael Ambrust took to the PlayStation Blog to describe what he says is “technically an FPS.”
“It has very little in common with the traditional FPS,” he wrote. ”In the game you play as a Ranger – essentially just a cube.”
He goes on to mention a choice few gameplay mechanics, though the general why, how and what of the game remains to be discovered. Losing health fades your cube’s color, thus making it harder for enemies to see. There may or may not be a multiplayer element having to do with respawning. Head to the source for this article to parse it for yourself.
The trailer below doesn’t shed much light, but it sure is very, well, black and white.
The word exclusive is never mentioned in the blog, nor is a release date (or window). It’s a wonderful little cube-shaped mystery.
