Get those Vitas ready.
It's the 30th anniversary of original 'Dragon Quest,' and for once, Square Enix has a pleasant way to mart the occasion. This October, 'Dragon Quest Builders' will arrive in North American and Europe on both PS4 and Vita. The game was released in Japan in January, and yet, this announcement is a surprise.
'Dragon Quest Builders' tasks players with rebuilding Alefgard, a realm that has been destroyed by the Dragonlord. In the game, the player is the only character who can fight off an evil enchantment and actually build. So not only is there free form building, but there is also a host of enemies and friendly NPCs to work with and dazzle by way of building.
'Dragon Quest Builders' is coming to the Vita as a digital title, but Square Enix will likely offer both digital physical versions for the PS4.
Along with this announcement, Square Enix is also offering a special discount on PSN and Steam for the recent 'Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree's Woe and the Blight Below' (review here).
