Occurs two years after 'Deus Ex: Human Revolution'.
In 2011, 'Deus Ex: Human Revolution' hit like a meteor, capturing the attention of mainstream gamers with its slick art style and stylized mix of combat and stealth. It was so successful that the game got a re-release well ahead of the current PS4/Xbox One trend. Fortunately, after a number of teases, Square Enix has officially revealed that Eidos-Montreal is currently developing a sequel entitled 'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided,' which set for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
From Game Informer,
Set in 2029, two years after the events of Human Revolution, Adam Jensen returns and joins forces with an Interpol-funded task force aiming to hunt down and capture augmented terrorists in a world that now hates and fears transhumans. Jensen has a new suite of augmentations that allow him to cleverly navigate stealth, combat, and social interactions, but how Jensen chooses to solve every problem is entirely up to you.
Fans know that 'Human Revolution' wasn't perfect, even after the Director's cut, so the hop has to be for certain changes in 'Mankind Divided.' Square Enix had a more elaborate reveal in mind, but the game's announcement leaked early. Expect more details over the next month just ahead of E3.
The question quickly becomes could 'Mankind Divided' possible be ready for 2015?
