'This War Of Mine' Android Version Pre-Orders Open To Support Charity, Includes Free PC Copy

Buying an indie darling and helping children in war-torn areas sounds like a win-win.

Developer 11 bit studios announced that its critically lauded title 'This War Of Mine' is now available to pre-order on Android tablets, with 15 percent of the proceeds going to charity.

Players who pre-order the game for Android tablets will receive a free copy of the PC version of the game, all while supporting War Child, a U.K.-based charity that provides support for youth living in communities affected by armed combat. It's an appropriate choice of charity for a game that focuses on the unseen effects of war on civilians.

The developer had stated that the game will be coming to both iOS and Android platforms by the end of this month and still plans on making that deadline. Only the Android version, however, seems to be available for this pre-order offer. Currently, the game is only set to release for tablets, not mobile phones.
