PC-only for Early Access.
Indie publisher Headup Games has announced that they will be publishing 'Super Treasure Arena' next week on Steam Early Access. The multiplayer title draws inspiration from arena shooters such as 'Quake,' but turns the genre on its head by presenting the action from a top-down 2D perspective. While the Early Access version of 'Super Treasure Arena' will only be available on PC come September 15th, console versions of the twin-stick shooter is planned.
'Super Treasure Arena' will allow players to face off against their friends online or locally. Like the titles its based upon, players will have to find different weapons on the map itself as there are no pre-game loadouts. A single-player mode is also available where players will get to steal loot from bots in order to win.
