Metalhead Software's baseball game slides into 2017.
After being announced earlier this year, Metalhead Software has now released the first gameplay footage of 'Super Mega Baseball 2.' The 90-second video shows off the sequel's updated visual engine, and upgraded presentation. The video is narrated by one of the game's developer, and is the first of several planned updates before the game releases in mid-2017 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
Check out the gameplay reveal below:
Metalhead Software says they wanted a more mature look for the sequel, but one that kept the light-hearted vibe of the original game. The upcoming sequel will also feature online play, a first for the series. The original 'Super Mega Baseball' released in December of 2014.
'Super Mega Baseball 2' is set to release in mid-2017. It's coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
