The Wii U and 3DS are still alive.
This Nintendo Direct is completely focused on the 3DS and the Wii U, and will not involve the NX or anything mobile.
Among the highlights from today's Direct, there is the announcement of 'Star Fox Guard,' which is due alongside 'Star Fox Zero' on April 22nd. There is also 'Paper Mario Color Splash' for the Wii U, which sees Mario trying to restore color to Prism island.
The rumors of a new SNES focused virtual console exclusive to the New 3DS models are true. The first slate of games are available right now.
'Monster Hunter Generations' was officially announced for the 3DS with a date of summer 2016. The game will feature some costume crossover with 'Fire Emblem.' (Marth costume.)
'Metroid Prime: Federation Force' started as a DSi title, but is due out this Spring.
A new Kirby game was announced for 3DS, 'Kirby Planet Robobot.' The game includes robobot armor for Kirby, which has upgraded versions of Kirby's classic copy abilities in a new mech form. The game also responds to practically every amiibo as a side feature.
