The Closed Beta for 'GWENT: The Witcher Card Game' Has Begun

And there is still time to get in.

Going all the way back to 'The Witcher III,' I'm an unabashed fan of 'Gwent.' I've been waiting for the closed beta with baited breath for a long time (see here), and as of today, that time has come.

The Closed Beta for 'Gwent: The Witcher Card Game' started today. The initial platforms for the beta include the PC and the Xbox One, and the first invites have already gone out. For everyone else, make sure that you have signed up for beta access here.

This stand-alone, competitive version of 'Gwent' is being developed in-house by CD Projekt RED, and it is also coming to the PS4. The beta is free, but players can purchase Card Kegs.

The final game will have a single player mode (one that I am excited for), but the closed beta will not.
