Biggest launch ever for the developer and publisher.

Devolver Digital has announced that 'Shadow Warrior 2' had the most successful launch in the publisher's history. In fact, the cooperatively playable sequel managed to quadruple the sales of 2013's reboot. To thank fans for their support, the first-person shooter will be getting free updates. These will include the katana from the first game, Nobitsura Kage, new missions, co-op characters, and additional weapons.

Developer Flying Wild Hog also put out a 16-minute video where the Polish studio talks about 'Shadow Warrior 2's development, and go behind-the-scenes. They discuss the Polish gaming scene, using motion capture on rabbit, and much more in the video. Check it out below.

'Shadow Warrior 2' is available now on PC, and is coming to Xbox One and PlayStation 4 next year.
