Many people may not know that the hit PS4 and PC game 'Rocket League' is actually a sequel to a game titled 'Supersonic Acrobatic Rocket-Powered Battle-Cars.' Now, developer Psyonix, the studio behind both games, is honoring its RC soccer roots with the 'Revenge of the Battle-Cars' DLC pack for 'Rocket League,' coming in October.

The DLC pack—the game's second content pack overall—will include two classic SARPBC cars (Scarab and Zippy) along with 12 decals, three paint types, two wheel sets, two boost animations, four toppers, and two antennas. The pack will come with its own set of trophies and achievements, as well.

Once the content releases, all players will be treated to new nighttime variations for two existing maps: Urban Station and Utopia Coliseum. There are also new country and community flags in the works that will be unlocked for everyone when the game updates.

The 'Revenge of the Battle Cars' DLC pack for 'Rocket League' will run players $3.99.
