Calling All 'Civilization' & 'XCOM' Fans: 2K & Firaxis Will Host Firaxicon 2015 This October

This October 3rd in Baltimore, MD, Firaxis and 2K will host Firaxicon 2015, the second annual Firaxicon. At the show, fans can expect to play both 'Civilization: Beyond Earth - Rising Tide' and 'XCOM 2,' and those titles will be key talking points for the Firaxis devs who will be at the show. That contingent will include none other than Sid Meier, and several Firaxis' designers will be on hand not just to talk up the new games, but to play board games with show-goers.

There will also be more show events such as giveaways, challenges, and merchandise offerings, and all of this comes themed as "one more turn." Tickets are on sale now for $40 (go here), and the event (and more specifically, the panels) will also be livestreamed via GameSpot.com
