The PS4 and Xbox One Focused Klipsch KG-300 Wireless Surround Sound Gaming Headset

Following up on the wired KG-200 released last May, Klipsch has released the 'Klipsch KG-300 Pro Audio Wireless Gaming Headset'. The new headset is on sale now, (order here), and has been built with five platforms in mind the PS4, Xbox One, PS3, 360, and PC. Through an optical connection and Dolby Digital Decoding, the wireless headset delivers surround sound through Klipsch's own SphereSpace Surround Technology.

The wireless headset features 40mm drivers tuned for gaming, and powered through three AAA batteries. The headset offers independent game and chat volume, four EQ presets, mic monitoring and detachable boom mic.

The transmitter is powered through USB, and offeres Optical, and 3.5mm inputs as well as a stand to hold the headset. 

The KG-300 is priced at $229.99.

Though it is a wireless headset, the KG-300 requires a connection to the DualShock 4 for chat functionality on the PS4, which is done with the included PS4 Chat Cable. Meanwhile, a Xbox Talkback cable is included for use with the Xbox 360, but a Xbox One Stereo Headset Adapter is required for use with the Xbox One. The headset is available now.
