Full line of IMPACT keyboards and GRIP mice available to preorder.
Turtle Beach is planning to bring their full line-up of IMPACT keyboards and GRIP mice to bear next month. No less than seven new products are now available to order, including the top of the line, IMPACT 700 premium mechanical keyboard. (Turtle Beach has tapped Nordic Gaming Supply to ensure these new product lines meet the high standards of serious gamers.) In fact, Turtle Beach is so excited about the IMPACT 700, the company is offering a special, very-limited bonus.
For those that preorder the IMPACT 700 from Turtle Beach before 12PM EDT on Monday, March 23rd, Turtle Beach will include a free Ear Force RECON 320 7.1 Surround Sound Gaming (normally $79.95). The free headset should arrive within 1-2 weeks of ordering.
The full size backlit mechanical IMPACT 700 keyboard features Cherry MX Brown key switches set in a steel-reinforced chassis. That combination represents the philosophy of durability and stability, but there are several other details which feature in the IMPACT 700. The keycaps have been designed to never fade, and the anti-ghosting keyboard is set at a six-key rollover spec. The IMPACT 700 includes additional keycaps and keycap puller for user customization as well as on-board 3.5mm audio jacks and twin USB with audio pass through. The IMPACT 700 is priced at $199.99 and is PC/Mac compatible. The IMPACT 700 can be preordered direct from Turtle Beach here.
Next up is the IMPACT 500, which features Cherry MX blue switches in a ten keyless, 84 key design. It also has a detachable USB cable to go along with its tournament ready nature. At $129.95, the IMPACT 500 is an anti-ghosting keyboard with a six key rollover spec. The IMPACT 500 can be preorder direct from Turtle Beach here.
The IMPACT 100 in not a mechanical keyboard. At $59.95, the IMPACT 100 is promised as a better than membrane anti-ghosting 104 key design with 30 key rollover set in a steel reinforced base with anti-fade keycaps. The IMPACT 100 can be preordered here.
On the GRIP mouse side of things, Turtle Beach is offering two designs, the GRIP 500 laser gaming mouse and the GRIP 300 optical gaming mouse.
The GRIP 500 is an illuminated 7-button programmable ergonomic mouse with Avago 9800 laser sensors, Omron switches, and non-slip, soft-touch coating. At $69.95, the GRIP 500 is fully programmable for all seven buttons, macros (up to 50), and even the wheel, and the DPI can be adjusted (through X and Y) all the way up to 8200. The GRIP 500 can be preordered here.
The GRIP 300 is a 5 button design set around an Avago 3050 optical sensor and Omron switches. At $39.95, the GRIP 300 is a non-slip mouse with adjustable DPI that can set on the mouse between 500, 1000, and 1750. The GRIP 300 can be preordered here.
Turtle Beach will also offer two kinds of mousepad, DRIFT and TRACTION.
The DRIFT is a fast microfiber mousepad and is available in four different sizes with prices going from $14.95 for Medium all the way up to $34.95 for Wide. The DRIFT can be preordered here.
The TRACTION is a texture control surface mousepad and is available in four different sizes with prices going from $14.95 for Medium all the way up to $34.95 for Wide. The TRACTION can be preordered here.
As noted above, all of these new PC accessories are expected to be released in April.
