New console cited as the reason.
The 'Amplitude' PS4 & PS3 remake currently in development at Harmoix is going to take a little longer it seems. According to an update on the game's Kickstarter page, Harmonix is no longer targeting a March release. Now the release range is "summer." The reason given for the extra time is that this is Harmonix' first PS4 title.
This is our first time working on PlayStation 4, and it’s been a big learning experience for the team. We’ve put a lot of work into our proprietary engine to support some of the new, awesome content we’re bringing to the reboot. These factors combined have bumped production out a few additional months.
In addition to the delay, Harminox did share plans to bring 'Amplitude' to PAX East, which should be good news for those VIP backers.
