'Basement' map included for all copies.
Sega and Creative Assembly have just announced six months of add-on content for 'Alien: Isolation.' This content is comprised of five Survivor Mode add-ons packs, with an initial map,' Basement,' free in all copies of the game.
From Sega, "Survivor Mode is an exciting new game mode for Alien: Isolation which challenges players to participate in a one-to-one confrontation with the universe’s deadliest killer, deep within the bowels of Sevastopol Station. With limited resources on each map and a hunter on the loose, players will need to take advantage of every item they find to help them complete a unique set of objectives which will ultimately lead to their escape."
The add-on packs will be available to purchase individually on October 28th, and of course the 'Alien: Isolation' Season pass will offer a 25% savings over purchasing each pack one by one. The first pack features three new maps and a new playable character. With 'Basement' available to all players, the allure of the challenge and the leaderboards should be easy enough to test.
