'Sid Meier's Starships' Priced and Dated for the PC, Mac, and Ipad

Less than three weeks away.

Well, that was quick. 2K Games and Firaxis first showed off 'Sid Meier's Starships' last month at PAX South (impressions here), and now it seems that the turn-based, mission-based, space fleet game has been dated for March 12th on the PC, Mac, and iPad. The game has some interesting shared traits with 'Civilization: Beyond Earth,' but is nevertheless its own feverish dream of space fleet combat/politics that any fan of 'Star Trek's Starfleet ought to consider.

Also announced was the price, $14.99.
