Supports both Bluetooth & 2.4 GHz and uses a magnetic mouse surface.
Today, Razer released a new product that is meant to enable living room desktop computing and gaming in a serious manner. The Razer Turret breaks down to hold an included anti-ghosting chiclet style keyboard, a 3500 DPI mouse, and a magnetic mouse surface in a rechargeable cradle. The mouse surface is connected to the keyboard via a foldable hinge.
When in the dock, the set-up takes up very little space. When ready for action, the mouse surface is right with the a smartly sized keyboard. The mouse will stay in place on that magnetic surface, and thus the Razer Turret can be used on a lap, coffee table, or whatever else makes senses in the living room setting.
There is an included 2.4 Ghz USB receiver, but the Razer Turret also supports Bluetooth LE. The Razer Turret promises 40 hours of continuous use before recharge for the mouse. Meanwhile, the keyboard has, in addtion to its expected PC compatible set of keys, also has dedicated Android buttons.
The Razer Turret is priced at $159.99 and is available to buy on Amazon and at Razer.
