Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows 10 news

It's been a wait.

Finally, after more than two years of waiting, the Xbox One controller can be used wirelessly on the PC. In order to make this work, things have to happen. Microsoft's new USB accessory, the Xbox Wireless Adapter for Windows needs to be connected, and the PC in question needs to be running Windows 10.

The Xbox Wireless Adapter is shipping now (so says Major Nelson), and is priced at $24.99. (Order here.)

Frankly, USB cabled usage is fine for me in most situations, especially after the 360 Wireless Receiver for Windows tended to be flaky. Still, the Windows 10 exclusivity is a little rankling after such a long wait.
